  • [Service Life Calculation of Ball Screw]

    1. Select the mounting orientation, mounting method, ball screw classification, nut type and the nut model number.

      Click the [Next (N)] button.

    2. Enter the various items. The details of the various items to be entered are as follows.

      [Mass]
      Enter the mass.
      [Velocity]
      Enter the maximum velocity of the ball screw whose life is being calculated.(V>0)
      [Drag Force]
      Enter the drag force in the guide part.
      [Distance between Mounting Positions]
      Enter the value of Ia in the input screen figure.
      [Stroke Length]
      Enter the ball screw travel distance.(Ls>0)
      [Acceleration Time]
      Enter the time required to reach the maximum velocity and the time required to stop from the maximum velocity. (T1>0)
      [Number of Reciprocations per Minute]
      Enter the number of reciprocations per minute.(N>0)
      [Friction Coefficient]
      Enter the friction resistance of the guide surfaces (LM guide = .005, slide = 0.1 to 0.2).
      [Load Factor]
      Enter the load factor.

      Click the [Calculate (C)] button.

    3. The calculation result can be saved as a PDF file for later use.

      A PDF file creation button is provided at the top of the screen.
